The Detroit Talent Studio is seeking talented individuals for its three Professional Performance Programs: Adult Dance (limit 8 dancers, ages 18+), Adult Vocal (limit 10 singers, ages 18+), and Kids Vocal and Dance (limit 10, ages 8-17).

These are intense 12-month programs during which students diligently study their crafts with respected industry professionals. The program, second to none, offers students opportunities to perform at professionally-booked shows, enabling them to build their resumes and complete the program as seasoned and polished performers.

As part of the program, students undergo intense training and rehearsals to prepare for future performances, as well as gain valuable information about working in the talent industry. Additionally, during this twelve month program, students will take part in a professional photo shoot and an HD video shoot. Students will graduate from this program with a headshot, HD video demo, professional performance resume, and best of all, professional experience!  Past graduates of this program are now working in the industry, touring with well-known musicians, being featured in music videos, choreographing stage shows, and more! Emerging from the program with the right tools to showcase their talents, enabled graduates to gain the attention of industry professionals and start working immediately.

Dancers and singers who complete the Professional Performance program gain upper hand when auditioning for feature films, commercials, live events, and tours, she said.

Beginning in 2010, the program will also be offered to actors, musicians and make-up artists in addition to dancers and vocalists. 

The next auditions will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
